About Jason

A Leith’s trained chef with over 10 years industry experience, Jason spent the early part of his career working in Sydney, Australia. After making the move to London in 2017, he went on to help set up one of the eight restaurants at 5-star hotel, The Ned and then work for Private Members Club, Soho House.
 

Burnt Toast Food Consultancy was born out of a desire to help restaurants, particularly those who are struggling, fulfil their potential. Jason’s approach focuses on stripping out white noise, getting a good handle on food costs to maximise profits, utilising seasonal ingredients to create manageable but exciting menus and, most importantly, equipping you with the skills and confidence to keep up the good work long after he’s gone. 

 

Burnt Toast also offers a Private Dining service, giving you the opportunity to enjoy restaurant quality food in the comfort of your own home and entertain guests without having to spend your evening in the kitchen. We can cater for parties of anything from 6 people right up to 30+, and will even take care of the washing up!
